For many homes, slightly larger numbers provide better visibility from the street while creating a balanced, well proportioned look on the exterior. Our most popular sizes are 6″ and 8″, offering excellent readability while complementing a wide range of architectural styles.

For those who want a more bold architectural statement, we also offer large 10" and 12″ numbers.

2. Visibility from the street

Every Ferosa order includes the hardware, templates, and instructions needed for installation. The only items not included are basic tools and the adhesive used to secure the mounting studs.

Adhesive for securing the mounting studs is not included, but it is inexpensive and easy to find at most hardware stores. We recommend using a clear exterior grade two part epoxy, which typically costs $5–$15. A clear exterior silicone can also be used if you would prefer your address numbers to be easier to remove in the future.

I DON’T CURRENTLY HAVE ADDRESS NUMBERS ON MY HOME. WILL THE DELIVERY DRIVER BE ABLE TO FIND MY HOUSE?

In most cases delivery drivers can locate your home using GPS and the shipping address provided, even if numbers are not yet installed. However, making your address visible can help ensure a smooth delivery.

If possible, we recommend writing your address clearly on a piece of paper or cardboard and placing it in a window or another visible location so the driver can easily confirm the address.

If your home is located in a brand new subdivision and you’re concerned about delivery, another option is to have your order shipped to a nearby friend or family member with an established address.

Not Recommended:
Vinyl siding

Vinyl siding is flexible and sits away from the wall behind it, which makes it difficult to securely mount the studs and adhesive.

If your home has vinyl siding, we recommend installing your numbers on a more rigid surface such as wood trim, a fence, a post, or another solid area with good visibility from the street.

WHAT TOOLS DO I NEED TO INSTALL MY HOUSE NUMBERS?

Only a few basic tools are required to install our address numbers. There's a good chance you already have everything you need. However if you're missing a tool or two, we're betting you've got a neighbour or friend that can lend you what you need. Here's the tool list:

1. TAPE MEASURE: To align your drilling template on the mounting surface.
2. LEVEL: To level your drilling template.
3. DRILL: To drill holes for the mounting studs. A hammer drill if drilling into masonry or stone.
4. 3/16 DRILL BIT: This is the size of hole that the mounting studs will fit into. A masonry bit will be required for drilling into concrete or brick. A diamond tipped drill bit may be required for some stone.
5. RUBBER MALLET (Optional): To gently tap the house numbers and studs into the mounting holes.

Each template is also properly kerned, meaning the spacing between numbers is carefully adjusted to ensure the entire address looks balanced and visually appealing once installed.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO RETURN MY ADDRESS NUMBERS?

Ferosa offers a 30 day return policy from the date of purchase for standard items.

If your order arrives damaged or has a defect, please contact us and we will make it right. For other returns, simply send the numbers back in their original condition, and once received we will issue a full refund.

To help keep the numbers in pristine condition, we recommend placing them on a soft cloth if they have been removed from the packaging. While our architectural powder coat finishes are extremely durable, setting the numbers on hard surfaces may cause micro-scratches. If returned items arrive damaged, the cost of the damaged pieces will be deducted from the refund.
